I am a social sciences and data librarian. I work at Carleton College. I also make librarian trading cards. I don’t like beginning every sentence with the word ‘I.’ 

This blog is a place to post my shared presentations, publications, and resources a bit more formally than I do here.

The Obligatory 3rd Person Bio

Kristin Partlo has been the Reference & Instruction Librarian for Social Science and Data at Carleton College since 2004 where she serves as liaison to the sociology and anthropology, economics, and mathematics departments. At Carleton, she works with the social sciences academic technologist, GIS specialist, and other subject librarians to provide a distributed model of data services to students and faculty. She is an active member of the campus quantitative literacy initiative (QuIRK), and member and former secretary of IASSIST. She holds an MLIS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a graduate of St. Olaf College.
